55 mile scenic (hilly!) loop from Hebden Bridge [POSTPONED due to illness]

I couldn't have come anyway , as my bike is out of action thanks to a combination of a narrow lane and a massive great Rambo wagon (just a split lip for me,luckily). At least I've still got a month before the Peak Epic.

Yikes! Sounds like you were lucky to get away with just a split lip ...

I am finally on the mend now. I went out today and did a ride which was 2/3 the distance and 1/2 the climbing of the one originally planned for today. I coped with that, but I wouldn't have liked to have done more. It was distinctly chilly in the wind and my lungs were still wheezy and spluttery but at least I don't feel jelly-legged or weak any more.
