6 speed freewheel?

hi,

im after a 6speed hg freewheel for an old raliegh scorpio. do all the freewheels out there fit the same threads and work with a shimano sis rear mech? or do i need a specific type like this,

the reason im asking is i can buy 2nd hand wheels 14 to 18 inch for a fiver at recyke y bike with a 6speed freewheel attached, will it work ok or not?

Yes, screw-on threads all the same.

If you're buying a brand new one, no problem, everything will be the same.

There is a small possibility of new old stock or second hand ones being French threaded.

Pop up to cycle center on shields rd, they will take the old one off and put new one on. Last one cost be around £10 and they are good guys in there
