62 Years Ago Today it was snowing in Coventry

According to my parents it was snowing 62 years ago today in Coventry on their wedding day , i dont know i wasnt there or even close to being there so only have their word for it .

Aye lad, I now own land in Cumbria. Only 9 square inches, but it entitles me to call myself "lord".

Was married in the register office near the town centre. Its the oldest one in the country, older than most churches. A mere decade ago though.

We were married in Coventry on February 26th 1983, I remember it as a bright sunny day.

never mentioned the wellies

but they did go to Henley on Thames for a week in a touring caravan that a friend had left down there the week before , they travelled to Henley by tandem

Not in my corner of Pembrokeshire. We have our own little weather system here because of the way the Atlantic winds curl in and it is often dry and sunny when the rest of GB isn't.
