Last year was a traumatic one with my friend Sarah ending up in hospital after a stroke and my mum being diagnosed with terminal cancer, I'm just really glad that I came out with I high merit.
It was explained why I missed out on a distinction. I got mostly merits on my assignments and only two distinctions so that's why I missed out, as they look at overall performance.
I get to carry the two distinctions over in September when I do my top up to BSc in applied horticulture, so its not all bad.
