70,000 on the M45 is a top speed. That road is a racetrack.
70,000MPH?
You could easily go into orbit at that speed..... No wonder so many drivers seem to be complete and utter Space Cadets!

I once had a Vauxhall Astra that at 6 months old had just under 59,000 miles on it, not longer after that I jacked that job in as I was hardly ever homeIs it a year old yet? I once serviced an Escort at 15months old it had never been off of Heathrow airport yet it had managed 98,000 miles.
My old Discovery had 265,000 on it when we sold it on.YoungsterMy current Golf has over 160,000 on the clock and it's predecessor Golf had 220,000 miles on it when I parted with it.

Is it broken down outside the Giro minute countdown clock? My 205 will soon be seeing 200,000 and it's not even using any oil. I have no idea why some car buyers are afraid of high mileage cars. With reasonable care, most cars from the 70s onwards will take a few hundred thousand in their stride.
My astra has just over 127,000 miles on it and still going strong. My wife asked me if 127k miles was a lot, I replied "Australia is about 10,000 miles away, so our car has theoretically been to Australia and back around twelve times" kind of puts it into perspective.
Yep, I stand corrected.Ahem... that would be 6 times (20,000 miles for the round trip).
