I am going to go down the convertign disc brake front wheels to fixed wheels in order to make fixed bikes, therefore need to get hold of 700c front wheels that can take disc brakes.
Looking for really cheap, really cheerful wheels to begin with - anybody know of any sources?

If all else fails I can look at 26inch mtb wheels, but this is not as preferable

Just a thought but surely a front wheel will be to narrow to use at the back?

Just buy a disc hubs and reuse your current rim, any good LBS should be able to build the wheel for you.
