Is it normal for the LBS to fit the wheel for you at no extra charge?

Otherwise, I would struggle to take the new wheel home on the bike...

I think my lbs would have fitted it free but I'd have to wait. I just got one of their scrunch bags and put its straps through the spokes and cycled withit on my back.

Outside the road racing world, people just call them "tyres". It took me years of cycling forum use before I came across the idea that there might be strange tyres which you glue on.

I use a pair of pro-lite como wheels for winter cycling, they're heavy (around 2kg for the pair!) fast rolling and tough.

Finally got around to fitting the new wheel.
Ooooooooooh, it spins an absolute treat. Lovely free-wheeling, sounds like a Swiss watch.
Beautiful.

I finally got round to getting new wheels myself but as the other wheels are still spinning (albeit baddly) I'm going to wait till the better weather.
