Whats that saying about walking a mile in another mans shoes?

Just saying I know it sounds great having all that money but I don't think it's as easy as that.Im not slagging the guy because it went wrong for him just trying to understand how it went so wrong for him,

Well, I will slag the guy off.

What a tosser, he gets given the golden egg to spend the rest of his life in reasonable luxury, with no need to work, and the opportunity to experience so much - and he pishes the lot away on the 'usual' lottery winner purchases, not to mention developing a drink habit.

He had the chance and blew it.

Come to think of it, it's not so much slagging him off, but frustration that all that money was wasted that makes me so disappointed in him.

It costs £8 a pint here!

Most I ever won was £76 with (the first) four numbers on a double roll-over.

But it didn't change me!

I got 4 numbers twice when I used to do the lottery predictions on computer.

I think you're a bit harsh there CP.

Fair do's.

The bloke paid with his life for his mistake.

IMO it was totally avoidable, and not the fault of the lottery.

On a lighter note, the first time I ever went to the in-laws I bought them a lottery ticket while in the shop. £136
