Actually, I rarely (attempt to) play my guitar these days, but when I did, that finger didn't see much action.

I suppose if you played the guitar left-handed it would be a nuisance. I never understood why left-handed guitarists do that since the left hand normally does the more intricate stuff, so it would be advantageous for left-handers to play the conventional way round. Left-handed keyboard players do not play left-handed keyboards!

Ah. I hadn't noticed which hand the little finger was on. It's late and I can't sleep.
I am left handed but play guitar the regular way as my left hand is stronger and faster for fretting. It never crossed my mind to play it any other way.

I call top trumps, because I've had two ops on my little finger due to an old rugby injury. Don't underestimate the buggeratIon factor of a malfunctioning pinky, so good luck with the op and recovery.
