A bit of gentle touring in Europe for 10 days or so?

I'm new to the site and new to touring but not new to cycling. There's no work for me until September 23rd and I fancy a bit of light touring in Europe somewhere. Am tempted by the Danube cycle path but am really quite open minded to anywhere.

Anyone fancy coming along? Am based in London, and will be looking to keep costs fairly low using a combination of campsites and cheap hotels/guesthouses.

Sounds tempting to up and away but it isn't possible for me.

This was posted here before and looks like it could be a fun journey:

Enjoy your tour.

Hi, i'm also new to touring and I'm currently on tour! I'm in Holland but I would prefer to be somewhere with at least a few hills to be able to see the scenery! I also would prefer company and am fairly open as to routes but France and South of here in general is appealing. I amtrying to keep my costs low and have camping stuff with me but would go for a cheap hostel now and then. let me know what your plans are and maybe we can meet up to see if there's a chance of cycling together.
I may be catching a train to Brussels this wkend to meet a Friend but otherwise I'm open to suggestions. Maybe getting a bit short notice for you though?
Cheers, Steph

If you want cheap accomodation have a look at the Airbnb website. We use it all the time and are very impressed.
