A blast from the past

I still have both a Bush and an Aiwa somewhere. I generally like to mess around with old tech but the cassette tape is one thing I am pleased to see the back of.

100s of songs and many hours of battery life on a device small enough to fit in a matchbox Or going for a hike with a rucksack full of tapes and Duracell or the dubious privilege of having the car stereo chew up your favourite tape and having to dismantle the thing to retrieve the damn thing

Ironically, I had a dream last night where my old Walkman got nicked by some twat who claimed it was his!

I saw an unspooled cassette lying in the gutter last night. It used to be such a common sight, that I felt a wave of nostalgia.
