I love this company...and there isn't many I say that about....so wanted to let more people know about them. Especially if you buy online, it can be a bit hit and miss on occasion.
I am putting this note on because I think this company is brilliant - I've no association with them but have received brilliant service. http://www.walzcaps.com/
I don't remember how I came across them, probably looking for caps that specify their size online - I fancied getting a cycling cap but all one size caps were too small, no matter how many I tried on. They are a small family run company I believe which I like the idea of dealing with. Choice on their site is bigger than available through a couple of places here in UK (and cheaper directly though exchange rate has changed since and I emailed about postage - nothing extra - first good point. The caps arrived and I forgot that wool can make me itchy but none of that at all. They look much nicer in the flesh than the photos on their site - like many clothing websites. I was really pleased with the quality (said by a man with the odd Jaeger suit and Russell & Bromley shoes).
I got a grey wool ear flap and even taken to wearing it when out and about with the flap turned up. They had some great reviews including this one - http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/first-look-walz-cycling-caps-23174. They do wool, cotton, moisture wicking, custom and more.
What prompted me to write this is recent service - when I've been out riding and getting hot and bothered the caps can be a bit snug and on the last ride I had red forehead lines that lasted a little while. So I emailed them for advice on how to stretch with minimum risk of damage and their reply? Make just for me (they do do custom caps too) a bigger size....for free - only costing me the postage. And I'd told them I bought 6 months ago. I think this is simply brilliant service.
