As I said @classic33, I have been trying to find something out about a recent purchase I made for my glass collection (quart/pint/half pint glasses and other associated bits of Brewerana), BUT, I am stumped with one glass.
As you know, the old crown excise stamp numbers all refer to a certain town, area, region or factory, but I have one now with two numbers, a 72 above a 65.
Now I have seen one on Ebay before, but was outbid, so this is the first one I have. These are not common at all.
The question is.... Is the top number the year and the bottom the area code?? I am having difficulty finding out.

Thanks.
