A cheap hybrid

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a new bike.

I bought a dawes xc1.2 mountain bike 7 years ago new from ebay. I used it regularly up until 6 months ago when I was hit by a car. Bike was knackered - well though frame isn't obviously bent, the crank and back wheel dont turn properly.

So I decided it's time for a new bike. Now although I did initially use the bike offroad in epping forest it's main use ended up being on the road. Now I realise that a hybrid would be a better fit - mainly road but a little bit of forest use.

I've been looking for a few days online and in a couple of shops. Problem is I see one bike, then start looking at reviews - which of course vary, then find a link(often here) to another bike etc.

My budget is really pretty limited to around £200(bearing in mind old bike cost £150 and lasted 7 years its not really heavy daily use).

Rutland seem to have a few deals on at the moment. I am considering a new Hybrid and looking at the Specialized Sirrus Sport and Rutland have it much cheaper than I can find locally in Gloucestershire (or online for that matter)!
