This morning I looked out the window and noticed that it was quite windy. Certainly not windy enough to stop me cycling to work, but windy enough that I didn't want to carry my son on the back to nursery this morning. It would have taken me too long to walk with my son to nursery, so I took the car there and back to drop the by off and then jumped on my bike and cycled to work.

Does this make me a bad person?! It is probably less than 500m to the nursery...

What is my penance?

No penance necessary. I don't take mine on the back if there is any hint of bad weather any more.

For the rubbish that you spout on here though you deserve to be rogered with a giant haggis!

Safety is the key,and you did what was safe for the conditions.
Without a saddle sounds penance enough.
