A couple of barn finds.

I was contacted by a Faceache friend to see if I wanted a couple of old bikes, I'm hoping to collect them next week.
Any ideas as to make / age ?

They were due to be dumped during a barn clear out but he rescued them for me.

Certainly around 1950. Could the green one be a Raleigh Lenton Sports?

I see yours has a derailleur gear but maybe someone with more knowledgeable could say if one was fitted to certain models. Possibly the Reg Harris edition?

I'd suggest the left one is a 50's Raleigh RRA without more details.

The green one is a Lenton. it has a SA hub with 3 speed derailleur.

The Raleigh All Steel. 3 speed dyno rear hub. Bluemels featherweight pump with presumably suppliers details.

Raleigh Lenton Clubman. 3 Speed Sturmey Archer and 3 speed Simplex derailleur. Britainialloy pump.

They are both a bit rough. I did ride the All Steel around the block today but the Lenton tube went bang when I inflated it!
Not sure of their fate at the moment, I'm busy with other stuff, and my mate says he has a couple of old trikes for me if I want them.
I quite fancy a trike.

i like the look of that Lenton a quick oily rag resto job and sort out the wheels and away it goes , sounds like i am making plans for it already

I'd get the hubs re-rimmed with ally ones but pretty much the same treatment.
