Arabella has arrived a day early, safe and sound!
Time: 9:59am
Weight: 14.3 kg

She was greeted by big sister Priscilla...

(the eagled eyed among you may spot my repair work, bottom right on the wall...where the dog decided he would chew itl!)

Oskar the German wall-eater goes in for closer inspection.....

I've been busy putting on pedals and adjusting things...still got to adjust the handlebars and seat but I'll wait until after lunch when I have another pair of hands for that (hubby is in bed after his night shift)
Then it's on with the kickstand, a quick polish over and introduce her to the co-op car park!

I'm a bit nervous as I'm used to MTB tyres and these are 700 x 35's and seem SO tiny lol
Once I've got the feel of her she'll get a proper run out and a full report will follow

He is a lovely boy...still very much in the puppy stage (tho he's 2). Due to his medical conditions his life expectancy isn't long (average 4-5 years) but he is loving life and taking advantage of my soft nature!

Well done on your new toy. Arabella is lovely. Oskar is more lovely IMO wall eating not withstanding. I love Shepherds, I've had a fair few but now have a couple of Jacks and a Greyhound, none of which eat walls but my old terrier licks everything. She'll get the corner of a cushion and lick and lick, then she'll suck until there is a large wet corner She's always done it whether we are home or not, it's just her thing.

Yeah, he's my 3rd GSD, I just adore the breed.
As for Arabella, yes, delivery was fantastic as was the whole purchase.
Oh and Tredz threw in a free nylon bag too

Ha ha, you're in for a shock!
When I got my Colombo (700x35) after being used to 26x2.00 I understood why folk wear padded shorts to go a 5 mile ride.
You can feel every bump on the road right in your tender bits.

I'm sure I'll get used to it but with the arthritis in my spine I was aware that I may need to buy a seat with some springs or something to cushion my lower spine. Even though she won't be on really bumpy stuff, I am used to ploughing up and down kerbs etc on the MTB!
I shall have to go easy lol
