A delicate matter

A friend of mine likes buying and selling stuff on eBay so it's not unusual for her to receive packages in the post. Last month she discovered that a neighbour also has the same hobby when he came to her door with a package that had been wrongly delivered. The address was correct, just the postie had taken it to the wrong door amongst a bundle of packages also bought on eBay.

Today she got a couple of packages. The first was the jewellery-making supplies she was expecting, the second was a bit of a surprise. It was a ball-gag. Checking the address she saw it was for her neighbour and she'd opened it in error. Now she has a dilemma. She can't hide the fact that the package has been opened but she's far too embarrassed to deliver sex toys to her neighbour.

Any suggestions?

The package is from China. Besides which she feels the chap was honest enough to bring round her wrongly-delivered package.

Tell him that she'd opened his package by mistake and ask him if one of his clackers is missing seeing that he seems to have a penchant for nostalgic toys.

might cost a few quid but could save any odd questions.

Cut the label and postage out. rebox the item in new packaging re-apply the label and postage with wide clear sellotape.... and if the chap queries the packaging it say customs must have opened it... sorted!

Buy a puppy, leave the torn package outside his door with the puppy sat next to it, then wait for him to come home and he'll think the puppy did it. Afterwards, stick the puppy in a bag with some bricks and chuck it in the canal. I'm joking. Shoot it.

I suggested putting some teeth marks in it before taking it round.

I would have to take it round personally just to see what other treats he has laying around the house. What goes on behind closed doors and all that
