Although I failed Economics O Level, I do seem to remember that by increasing sales the manufacturer will be able to reduce unit costs by using economies of scale. So, buy it! By upping their sales, the cost will go down for those of us with mere mortal wallets.

Riiiight... Like anyone on here is going to try talking you out of buying a new bike.

If it will help, I can always put the missus on - she's always got a shed-load of reasons why I can't spend the housekeeping on a new bike (personally I think food, heating and childrens clothing are vastly overrated).
