A very interesting article in three parts. Not an easy read but interesting nonetheless and worth persevering with. The link is to part 3 and contains the links to 1 and 2. Included in the history are blood doping in other sports, so I nearly put it in the other thread but I thought it deserved one of it's own. Any real surprises, not if you've been following the sport and it's history.
