Hubby came shopping with me on Friday, unusual. Anyway we went into Halfords supposedly looking for rear lights and came out with a Boardman hybrid pro for me ! My first ever road bike.

Oh I don't think its a softening up,not in that way anyway, he wants us all to go touring,when the boys are old enough. That's what he thinks, I'm not doing 100+ miles a day fully loaded he can stuff that!
Anyway my youngest likes his home comforts and he'll need his mummy,probably until he's at least 30 Im guessing.

Yikes! I love touring but that would not be fun for me. I doubt my wife would have taken to touring if I expected her to do anything like that. The first tour I took her on was three days, 40 miles a day and in bed and breakfasts. This April we will be setting off to ride around the coast of Britain, about 5,500 miles and camping all the way. See, my patience has paid off.
