Well you did the Brompton factory tour sunshine! Brompton folding pedals are definitely made in the YewKay though.

That I did and all the bits they make are made in the UK bar two which are made in the far East. It is just things like the cranks and hubs I do not know.

Brooks saddle.
Hope hubs, disc brakes and headset.
X-Lite bars and seatpost.
Brompton folding pedals.

It's turning into a Frankenbike.

Depends what you mean by British. Even UK-made frames won't necessarily use UK-made raw materials.

I reckon if you're after a British designed/ manufactured bike you will have more chance.

If you wanted to build a 100% British made bike, I would imagine you would have to use mostly NOS parts.

If anyone wants to give this a go, I can sell you one of my spare Sturmey Archer hubs.
