Looking at the list I knew all but one of those. I've never heard of Moroculous.

So here are a few others for CC'ers to try a hand at translating (some may have been local slang in the area I grew up)

Actually I used to play a came called stanky. On the road across from me there were 4 stanks...

Talking about strange words. I was in an MRI scan yesterday and did a double take on the name on the outside of the MRI room; Magnetom. So, that is where your name emanates from. I had to ask and was informed that magnet play an important part of the MRI machinery. Learnt something yesterday.

Yup. That is where my name came from. I thought I'd better change my name, otherwise i would have had problems with Siemens.... (oo-er!)

I could tell you lots of amazing facts about MRI scanners. In fact the most interesting facts are about what would happen if a ferromagnetic oxygen cylinder got too close to an MRI scanner...

No, my recent annual check up found that I was significantly deafer in one ear than a year ago. The doc was concerned enough to arrange an MRI. I had to go down to Middlesborough for it. I am not sure what it will find, but it is done. I think it is just old age and spending too much time as a young man shooting that has caused the problem.
