Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I would give to a local hospice, and to macmillan nurses as well.

Agreed with Cycleops, the fake pastors operating all over Africa are the most shameless of the lot, whether they promote some wacky charismatic church or a "mainstream" church like the Catholics. The more I see of their antics the more my eyes are opened to the scale of the scam of organised religion in the so-called civilised world.

One of my favourites from the Gilbert Murray "Vicar" replies was the greetings and signoffs....

Things like:
"May Jesus want you for a sunbeam"
"May the Great Prophet Noel cleanse you of your sins with His soap of forgiveness and His flannel of redemption."
"May the Good Lord impregnate you with the seed of his boundless love."
"May the Good Lord bless your shoes with a lasting shine."

On Charitable works, obviously!

Apply here....what would you do with your share of MY £3,200,000??
(If I were to give you some?)

OK, could be interesting.

I'm going to give each of you £10,000.
You have to spend it within a year (and not on things like paying off mortgages).
What would you spend it on if you had to:
a) spend it on charitable things, not yourself (and none of these charities to send rich folk's brats to Eton types of charity!)
b) spend it on yourself or your immediate family?

Discuss...

OK I'm in, shall I send you my bank details?

ps, Eton IS a charity. Obviously.
