IMO this should be an auto life ban, mistaking which pedal does what (in presumably an automatic car) is pretty damn stupid and as seen here pretty damn dangerous!

Have you seen the reaction of the guy behind the counter (far left of the video)? He just calmly strolls out of the way of the car and mountain of debris as if it's an everyday occurrence!

Thing is you see this time and time again and it is nearly always someone from one of two groups: the very old or the drunk/drug driver.

We need to have regular re-assessment of all drivers (as a driver I support this) and annual re-assessment of drivers who either reach a certain age or have particular medical conditions (e.g. sight problems). This needs to be *mandatory*, not the voluntary basis as seems to be the case.

As for the latter case; there should be a law against it
