A nice surprise.

While raking through the garage getting bits together for a mini tour along the Leeds Liverpool canal I unearthed the last remaining bottle of my 1984 blackberry wine.

I uncorked it and sniffing it was a positive experience.
Tasting it was very nice. I have a very nice bottle of sherry to guzzle sip.

It seems to be quite potent too.

Anyone got any older home-brew?

Not home brew but a bottle of port. It was brought for our wedding reception in 1983 and never opened. Its in the back of our kitchen cupboard and has survived two house moves
