We're saving the tattoo's for her eighth birthday ... 
She's been buzzing all day today too. I had no idea she's wanted them doing that much!!
Sometimes being a parent is the best thing ever - being able to do those little things that don't really mean much to you, or cost you a lot (other than a bit of time and a few measly quid) but that mean so much to your kids. It's great!!
She's been telling me tonight I should get an earring - but just one, because boys don't have two earrings.

Our eldest doesn't seem to have a huge desire to get her ears pierced. She did talk about it a bit a couple of years ago, but hasn't mentioned it since. She's also got friends with PSP's and mobile phones (at age 7!!!!) and DS-Lites but again, thankfully, doesn't seem too bothered with stuff like that. She uses my old Minidisc player and has her own reasonable digital camera and she's happy with those. Some day it'll all change... that or she'll be a "label only" wearer when it comes to clothes...
