Hi,

I currently have a cheap trax bike for commuting. I have been thinking of left my patented use for her commute and getting a second bike (hybrid).
I am looking for a bike on a budget of around 250£.

I have come across this one and quite liked it, is anyone able to advise or is there somthing better i can get for my money? I don't really want grip shift.

Lol oops typeo. I have been thinking of letting my partner have my current bike so that she can commute.

Rozza, you'll get much better vfm at that price range if you go for a bike without suspension, which IMO is just energy sapping (particularly if there's no lock out) and an unnecessary weight. A bike which always seemed to be championed on the forum is the Carrera Subway.

Lol yeah it should.

I have managed to find the Claud butler 400 for about 227£. Although would have to build it myself :-S

Like the look of the Carrera Subway. 18" one is around £199.

Yeah I have been looking for one without suspension.
