A simple, but clever, idea

I saw a standard shape water bottle which had screw caps at both ends.

The top was a standard top, and the bottom was the usual flat base, but unscrewable.

It struck me as a clever and effective solution to the age old problem of cleaning the inside of a water bottle.

Are there any other similarly bright kit ideas about?

All plastic, 750ml I think, translucent 'tube', coloured caps.

I would post a link, but it was a guy in a small repair shop who had them and he has next-to-no web presence.

I didn't get the maker's name.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Or ... use a regular supply of bottles?

Last year I bought 10 of the PBK offer of High5 bottle with gels for under £2. Even with turning them into plantpots after 2 months  there's some left.

Has the "art" of washing bottles been lost in the mists of time?

After watching the vid on the manufacturer's website, it begs the questions...

What is he putting in the bottles?
Why is he leaving them to go skanky before trying to wash them?
Do they not have bottle brushes in the US?

It this it?

The concept appears to be better than the reality, according to the review

I like the idea of using a couple of water bottles (the blue Maxim ones) as a tool/tube carrier in one of the water bottle holders. Not too sure how to make the 'ends meet' so to speak, other than cutting two bottles off at the right height, so as to be compatible with each other, and maybe use silver tape to secure.

Has any one done this and, if so, is it effective/practical?

Never joined 2 together, but have used old bottles with the top cut off & tools/ tubes wrapped in cloth so the wrapped bundle is a tight fit in the bottle, the cloth comes in handy for wiping the hands if required

If your bottles a bit wiffy, chuck a bit of bicarb of soda in,add water and shake like a polaroid picture. Good for cleaning stinky fridges as well.
