I'm sure these have been mentioned before, in fact I think it was here I first saw them ages ago:

At the time, I didn't think it was worth the bother - after all, it's not like it takes more than a second or two to align the clamps to do them up. Then a friend did the upgrade on his, and everytime afterwards mine annoyed me slightly. :-)
Oh, and I can report that it saves two seconds per fold, one second per unfold (as there's no more guesswork about how much to unscrew them). If you ride your Brommie five days a week, that adds up to a massive 13 minutes a year that you can use to waste on a web forum or something.
To fit them, you'll need to acquire some bolts which will need shortening and threadlocking. If you can't do that yourself and don't have a friend who can (the latter being my strategy), they do a kit with everything prepped.
