A Mac is a PC

Do you mean by chance a PC using Windows ;):wacko:

Take it to the Apple store. They'll let you have one of their latest and greatest on finance.

Just like they did last week for my unemployed niece. Twats.

I have a 2009 MacBook Pro and the letter E fell off

Nipped in to Apple Store

5 minutes later new key installed at no charge

T'other was an out of warranty iPod that "bricked"

Took it in and they tested it.. To inform me that in technical terms it was"broken"

Then handed over replacement

..... Not bad considering I had bought it in HMV because they had a discount voucher at the time of sale making it cheaper

To be fair to them the customer service is usually top notch.

My same niece dropped her old iphone a while back and shattered the screen and they replaced that for her gratis. (the whole phone, not just the screen)

They are only twats sometimes.^_^

It's a bit more complicated than that...

That would explain why they're so expensive....

Probably. That kind of CS is rewarded with brand loyalty though, so it may well pay for itself over time.
