@John the Canuck are you set on getting a classic/vintage/older road bike or are you just continually poking that in due to price? remember most modern road bikes including the carrera zelos and the b'twin triban 3 will be lighter than most of the vintage/classic/older road bikes
but at the end of the day it is up to you and we can only recommend!

the bike been running well recently as i have noticed a lack of activity on your ticker in this good sunny weather? what's stopping the riding?

Lots of stuff mate, had a deadline this week so was lowering my mileage. Hope to get out tomorrow, get 15 miles in! Also i've been flying a fair bit more now. Got a hour and 5 mins in my log book today!

live off mainly tesco every day value for a while and save those extra pennies over the weeks and months and get a triban 3 or goodish carrera for 250-300£, you won't regret it!

Actually, I did have a puncture that took 2 days of riding out while i got a new tube. Was a slow puncture so i made it home!

Yeah I fitted a spare tube but snapped a tire lever getting the tire back on.. So had to get to the lbs and 50p later got a replacement!

looks clean ...too bad it's a 57cm........good luck with the sale.!

rant/....all the ''Collection Only'' listings are beginning to tick me off ... nobody wants to make the effort to post ---- to Glasgow......
