a unexpected 100k

After I finish work today , I just had to get on my bike and pedal . So I did just going round the back roads of Glasgow , enjoying the wind and peace and quiet . After I got home I realised I had cycled 100k . Maby I should have more bad days at work !

Well done that man I struggle to do my ten miles home after my physical night shift but I love that time of morning.

Blimey, well done, if I had finished work and cycled 100k, I would not have returned home until after midnight

Never mind. I would have to cycle well into the small hours anyway to do 100km

Absolutely! Troon and back is 100k. Or you could head out to Port of Menteith and back, that's roughly 100k.

Isn't 100k slightly cheating?

It's the only time you use a metric measurement to signify an achievement in the UK. Maybe you you stick to miles and leave the Kms to those who use them.

Joking aside, I like 100 k rides. It's a milestone ride that is easier to fit in to busy lives. I can do a 100 k ride every month but don't have the time for a 100 miler every month.
