Apologies for the source - although it was originally in an Irish paper - but we should ALL bear this in mind as a possibility!

I well recall the man who went to a pharmacy and asked if they could give him anything for his erection which had lasted for two weeks with no signs of detumescence and the two young ladies behind the counter conferred and said the best they could do was the £8,000 in the till and the keys to the shop.

My dad always told me to keep a stiff upper lip, when I fell on the cross bar.

i can assure you that while we may feel a little glum with manflu , a crossbar in the crown jewels makes every other ache or pain instantly seem trivial

We have squishy delicate bits down there too! But I think not in the same class of pain when clobbered... (but maybe men complaining about that is a bit like manflu?)

it is actually worse. The most painful experience for a human being is supposed to be giving birth. Women would agree but men say a kick in the knackers is more painful.

So who is right? Many women will have several babies but you never ever hear man saying "Dave, kick me in the knackers".

I was referring to bashing the outer bits on a cross bar - not giving birth!
