it is actually worse. The most painful experience for a human being is supposed to be giving birth. Women would agree but men say a kick in the knackers is more painful.

So who is right? Many women will have several babies but you never ever hear man saying "Dave, kick me in the knackers".

Hmm, been through the 'I've had the babies, your turn for 'fixing'. Fourteen months of kicked in the knackers isn't fun. Thank goodness the second op has helped, and I think I am on the road to recovery. I ain't going near any crossbars ! No pot holes for me !

Love that but in objective tests, the women who've given birth AND suffered renal colic from kidney stones always say the kidney stones are higher on the pain charts. This means that we men are privileged to also be eligible to suffer the worst pain! Doesn't that make you proud?

When I used to play football victims of a kick in the nuts were advised to jump up and down on their heels to relieve the pain. Might work for childbirth too perhaps?

I winced when I read this a week or so back, but I just thought about the potential risks of such a condition. As many of you know, stagnating blood in my legs caused a near-fatal DVT 18 months ago so it is a subject never far from my mind. It strikes me that there must have been a big risk of this guy getting a clot-ridden penis, with potentially awful consequences?

PS In fact - that IS the case ...

Potential complications include ischemia, clotting of the blood retained in the penis (thrombosis), and damage to the blood vessels of the penis which may result in an impaired erectile function or impotence. In serious cases, the ischemia may result in gangrene, which could necessitate penis removal.
