A13 Survey

To those who use the A13 Cycle Path through Newham yesterday, the survey (which I presume was a council one as it was only in the borough) was looking at your type of bike, clothes and helmet.
I was counted 5 times each way at different points, so am not sure what this will prove.

Do you mean they actually stopped you to look at all of those things...? Are you going to contact the council and see what they have found out...?

No - of course not. After passing them in the morning and then still seeing them there after 6 in the evening, I just had to stop and ask what they were looking for.

I guess cycle statistics are hard to collect, for example cyclists may choose to use back streets to avoid major junctions which must mean they get under counted in any traffic survey.

Do you think the council will publish the results at any stage?
