Looking at doing end 2 end in october 2010 to be precise dunnet head to lizard point most northerly to most southerly points on mainland as an alternative to jogs.
the route i have in mind is a836 to stuie hill near tain via thurso bettyhill lairg.
a9 to inverness b roads to nairn a939 to gon spey ballater a93 to perth b roads to 4th road bridge edingburgh.
deciding on the rest of the route but want to ride the a93 especially.
has anyone done it in october.
i have driven the road in a car when i went canoeing on the spey.
