You have my sympathies.
I once reached up to get a 1kg bag of chilli powder down from the top shelf of the cupboard. I didn't realise that the leading edge of the cupbpard base was sharp, and as I pulled the bag towards me, it neatly spilt the plastic, causing several hundred grams of fresh chilli powder to rain down on my upturned face and eyes.

The neighbours heard my screams and came running.........
