Accommodation Girona 2009

Hey Kids,

I'm looking for a mediumish term rental in Girona next year from around May to September for me and my family (wife and 2 kids under 5). Does anyone have any tips on how to find a reasonable priced house / villa for that period of time? I checked out the holiday rentals but I can't afford 1,000 pounds a week so I won't be staying at any of them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Girona is where Ryanair fly you to if you book tickets to Barcelona!
It's a bit north from Barcelona.
Way to make an impression with your first post, anyway.

It is in Spain, 90 km north of Barcelona, and very nice it is, too.
Didn't Tony Bell (on the C+ site) advertise a bed & breakfast, villa-type accommodation there?
Ryan Air fly there so it should be cheapish to get to.

So wouldn't you be better contacting a residential letting agent in Girona?
I thought it was in Italy...but that was Verona, right? (ie the setting for Romeo and Juliet)?

Personally, if I lived in Perth I think I'd stay there rather than go to Girona, but each to their own. Never been to western oz...

Perth WA is miles away from anywhere! Even Sydney!

Oh, getcha. Dunno where you'd fly into, TBH. Heathrow, maybe? The notion of flying half way round the world and then getting on Ryanair would destroy my remaining will-to-live.

Sorry Guys, yes I should have said why I wanted to go there. Yes the Girona I am eluding to is the one in Spain and yes I live in Perth, Australia. The reason I want to spend some time is Girona is training for racing I will be doing in France next year. Perth is a nice place to live but it doesn't have any mountains....just what I need for training on.
