Acera M360 with 9 speed?

I have everything I need to go 9 speed on my self built steel bike.

8 speed hub, spacers, 9 speed shifter but the derailleur I have is an Acera M360 which is advertised as being for 7 or 8 speed bikes.

Can you see any problem with me using it for 9 speed?

I'm pretty sure all 8&9 speed Shimano be it road or MTB uses the same cable pull ratio's so all will be fine between shifter and RD. I assume you have 9 speed shifter and a 9 speed cassette?

Plenty of experience doing this with Altus and Alivio. I'd be very surprised if it didn't work.
