Seems a shame there is so little activity on these forums. They are very well made, and the whole site is neat and tidy generally. Nice name too.

Just need a few more users!

Thanks for the compliment

I think part of the problem is that I require user registration. Without it I got bombarded with crappy posts trying to sell anything from willy growth meds, to XXX spanking sites!

But without it you also remove the instant gratification someone gets from signing-up and replying to a thread, there and then.

There's also the simple fact that I haven't had time to promote the forums. I hope to get on with that over the coming months, but as is the norm in life, things often get in the way of your plans.

Hopefully, a few more people will spread the word, and we'll get the forums swimming with posts in the near future

Cheers,
Shaun

I think you might have a sudden influx of folk who (like me) have been peeved by the Great Forum Amalgamation of the C+, MBUK and Procycling forums.
I'm very new here (first visit) but I feel much more welcome than I did at the new C+ site.

Hi Shaun

I agree that you may get more users on line. I was a member of Procycling.com forum, then got thrust into the BikeRadar.com forum - I tried. I really did. But, there was very little talk about racing (le Tour is days away! You would think people would WANT to talk about racing), and there weren't a whole lot of nice people in there.
I feel better here already!

This place will probably expand exponentially over the next few days! It seems lots of people, from whatever forum, feel the same as I do about BikeRadar.

As per my only post on Bikeradar, less is usually more. I managed to make a cock-up my registration on here and Shaun sorted it out immediately. I like a place small enough for that sort of attention.

It's better now though, innit?

(Sorry. I was bored with this website I'm meant to be creating so I thought I'd have a look and see what the oldest thread in cafe chat said. That rhymed. I'm a bloody poet and I didn't even noet.)

I love it. She was younger then, but still looks absolutely barking in it.
