A friend of mine is selling an old bike for 30 quid. It's a Falcon triathlon competitior made by Henry Gregson cycles in Accrington Lancashire. It has a Reynolds 531c frame,Shimano and Simplex gears and the shifters are on the downtube. It weighs 12.7kgs. It's a bit tatty with some surface rust and it looks a bit 1980's.I went out for a spin on it the other day and surprisingly it's quite a comfy and stable ride. Is it worth buying or binning?

Sounds like a nice project for £30?

I'll have it if you don't. Or I would if I knew the size and lived anywhere near there. Quick sandblast and respray and you've got yourself a nice restoration project.
