No. I will just use the car for most of the winter (nice and warm inside). I have also ordered two blind spot mirrors because I can manage with the ones I have, but I just like the better visibility.

We do need to harden you up you know.

I have a nice climate controlled car, with a fantastic hifi system, sat nav and computer controlled everything (PS it's not new it's a Nissan Primera P12 that's 12 years old) but I still take the bike. I hate driving to work. I can get there faster on the bike and feel more alive. I did used to drive a round 60 mile commute for a long time, that's mind numbing.

Anyway, enjoy it round the back lanes chucking it round corners legally as those handle well without braking the law.

Not if its got to that age it's not a fix it. Should be fine. ^_^

My niece has just replaced her 500 bag of poo. Bought new, been terrible. Loads of cash down the pan.

More worser still, IIRC you'd to grease all the nipples every 3k miles in them days:sad: Or the wheels would fall off..
Too right, I was once holding on for dear life in a Triumph GT6 as my mate was doing 110mph down this road, he slowed down to about 20mph to turn left at a junction next thing we knew was the passenger wheel was in the wheel arch, the Brass, yes I did say Brass truneon (is that spelt correctly Google says not) snapped due to being seized he hadn't greased it for a while.
