You got a great price on the Langster! Since I got mine (paid £399 and I still think that was a bargain!) This autumn and winter I've done 1500 miles on the Langster compared to about 120 on my 'proper' bike. If you're riding for fitness I don't think you can beat fixed. Flip-flop that rear wheel and enjoy!

Thanks for the info. I'll have a look at planet x.
There was a bit of a hiccup with the stock on my Langster (they didnt have it!!) so i got the new alu version with £100 knocked off which was nice. It's put me a bit behind though. I was expecting it on Monday but it looks like it'll be next weekend so i cant strip my current commuter down and sell it yet.
The 2012 comes with worse wheels and a fixed / fixed hub so its probably an accident waiting to happen. It also doesn't appear to come with toeclips which the steel 2012 and both the 2011s do so i'll have to shell out for those when i get used to riding fixed.
I'm starting to think i should have just gone for the steel 2012 for £350.......
