Hi,
I've got a week in italy next week, i've got a wedding in the middle wkend and free days either side. So was thinking of taking my bike and riding to the wedding venue Ancona area ( stinking!!!). then ride back to Rimini (200 mile round trip) ish!!
So a few questions -
I've taken my bike on planes before but in bike bags, so what is the best way to protect your bike as i will be riding it from the airport so no where to put bag or boxes? so basically any advice on this would be great ( flying ryan air) Basically what is the process when riding from airport?
I was thinking of doing this whole trip on the cheap so was thinking of camping or sleeping under the stars, what would you recommend is it safe just to sleep out in a bivi bag type thing?!! find a quiet place somewhere? I'll only need to sleep out for 2/3 nights.
I'll be riding from Rimini to Ancona then in land for about 30 mile, any tips of routes or even cheap places to stay, to be honest any tips would be great.
