Hi

I've got a TV in a room upstairs, but there's no aerial/co-ax into it at the moment. The only earial I have goes into the TV downstairs.
The reception in the area is not good enough to use an internal aerial for the upstairs TV (plus it needs to feed into the set-top box).
What's the 'neatest' solution to getting a signal for the upstairs TV? I was thinking along the lines of a hole in the ceiling that goes up into the loft, feed the coaxial cable through and connect it to an outdoor aerial up in the loft, but aesthetically it might not look good (then again, some amount of visible cabling is inevitable, I guess).

Are there any other solutions?

As you suggest is the easiest, but if you can get into the cavity wall drop the coax down the cavity, then install a socket on the wall to accept the cable. Or, bring the coax out from the loft through the eaves and in through a hole drilled through the wall (or window frame) and terminated in a surface mounted socket.
