Bagpipes! The tune bit is Ok but that constant droning gets me like some people hate fingernails on a black board!

We have one busking* piper** who plays in Darlington town centre on a regular basis. If we were all allowed to murder one person in a lifetime with no comebacks he'd be pushing up the daisies now.

* Not the adjective I'd usually use, but used so as to not frighten the horses, children and those of a nervous disposition.

** Played in Scotland they are wonderful, and best heard from Darlington, or further South, like South Africa!

The kids over the road who seem to live in the garden & who's response to everything is to scream loudly and piercingly and constantly. Also their next door neighbour who let us all know their burglar alarm siren is working every single day for at least half an hour.

My boss has a tic, she sniffs, it is particularly worse when she has a cold instead of blowing her nose she sniffs, sniff sniff, sniff sniff

People whistling, and tapping their fingers against things like furniture.. or clinking keys together. Anything like that really annoys me.

As I get older I find things that would have previously wound me right up don't bother me anymore.
However, "the noisy family" as Mr M has named them, do annoy and sometimes I feel like telling them to pipe down, (polite version).

Who me?Hardly ever!Mind you,two out of the three happened on either side of me this morning in an otherwise empty cafe-seats all round and we were all sitting virtually on top of each other!As SWMBO pointed out though,those who were annoying me were complaining about the other table in stage whispers,so it was in fact quite funny really!
