What can we do. I've almost got to the point of giving up and getting back in the car. Not very happy at all tonight.



I didn't hold anyone up here, I cycled according to Government advice, but still get this kind of cr@p.

Very pleased I didn't swear, as I will be taking this to the police.

I would'nt let them drive you off the road. Fortunately the majority of motorists are ok.

The vehicle was starting to move across in front of the cyclist. Horn was used at an indication to the motorist that the cyclist was there.

I would'nt class MrHappys reaction as retaliatiry, more self protection and 100% correct.

It wasn't being used as an indication the cyclist was there, which can clearly be seen by the reaction of the cyclist.

I'm not criticising the cycling at all, absolutely nothing wrong with it - and the tool driving the red shitbox was a cretin, but the use of the horn certainly didn't help diffuse the situation.

In a perfect world, then I guess so. But we don't, so in the real world I've let rip many times and I understand it. I am commenting on what I see in the video.

Sometimes we just meet idiots like this on the road. the only thing we can do is record them and send it off to the rozzers.

It doesn't help that there has been limited road policing for decades which has caused many people to think that the motor vehicle owns the roads. Without education on these sort of subjects as issues arise then bad driving becomes a habit.

A horn means "I am here!" When someone is drifting sideways into you, a reminder of your presence is appropriate.
