Take the video to the cops. At the very least there is a Sect 59 warning due to him (marker goes against car and driver btw). Possible Section 5 POA offence (remeber his actions caused you to be alrmed, very distressed and concerned for your safety (but you wouldn't be bullied off the road)) if you get the right cop. Pity you lot don't all live in Cambridgeshire really!

The drivers in this video are unlikely to have gone through life without becoming persons of interest to the police, so your reporting it and supplying your evidence might just be the perfect excuse they need to have a word with them..

Years ago I was at a party, where someone's ear was bitten off by a gatecrasher.

Because of the people involved no complaint to the police was made. However when I told my police officer Dad about it he, I believe, saw that the appropriate "intelligence" was duly noted.

And I find it helpful to laugh at these imbeciles, what an awful time they must make for themselves with such attitudes !

Thanks for all the supportive replies; it's appreciated. I enjoyed the ride in this morning (mostly).

The police on the phone said I would have to go into a police station to report it, so it may take a couple of days, but I will do it. Unfortunately, it will be my second complaint to the police about drivers in 7 days, so I do hope that won't look bad.

It's vids like this that make me soooo glad most of my commute's rural! Looks like you encountered two egg-bound single-figure-brain-cell-endowed cretins in one stretch of tarmac, damned unlucky. As for the use of the 'Zound, I'd say it was justified, you'd certainly do it in a car so why not on a bike?

Here for rides.
I'll echo what Browser said (apart from the bit about the 'zound, but let's not go there)

and can I say that when the lovely Helen saw your clip she jumped and screamed out loud.

They're trying to putyou off. An incident can be raised over the phone, then an appointment can be made for you to go and speak to an officer. Sometime the way the system works is a pain in the proverbial.

The way it works in my area is that you give all the details of the incident over the phone, and then if you want to take it further or show an officer the evidence, they can arrange for one to come around to your house. Or you have the choice to go into the police station.
Its rare for it to be compulsary to go into the station as there might not be any officers available.
