Yeah I know it's not a bike part, but I am selling it because I'm saving up for a Triban 3!

I am selling an unregulated (i.e powerful) air rifle, I bought it reconditioned from an expensive gun place in Woodbridge when my wife was working at a manor as a gardener and I felt some need to get rural. No idea what I was thinking buy this thing, and I wasn't cheap!

So anyway, I need to fund my road bike habit so £150 and you can have this rifle, the fancy bag I bought for it and the pellets.

Specifics and pictures? It's not my bag TBH but I know a few guys into that sort of thing but there's not much there for me to tell them.

What make and model is it? Fairly essential information given the range of air rifles out there! You refer to it as "unregulated", is it therefore a pre-charged pneumatic as this term only applies to pcp rifles? It also doesn't guarantee that it is powerful, all non-fac air rifles are limited to 12 foot pounds pellet energy at the muzzle, regulated pcps will deliver this with every shot, the pellet energy will vary with cylinder pressure in unregulated pcp rifles, and will drop after a few shots from a freshly charged cylinder. My current pcp rifle delivers 11.6 foot pounds consistently and I check it at least once a month with a chronograph to make sure it doesn't drift over 12.

Of course the other point with a pcp, regulated or not, is that you need a diving cylinder to fill it from!

I may be wrong but as far as I know anything over 12 pounds is illegal ?
nope owner/user just needs to be covered by a FAC ( firearms certificate)

not sure about regulations on selling either, something nagging at back of mind about needs to be face to face , but that might be dealers.

Your nagging feeling is correct, mail order sales by dealers are prohibited but private individuals can still sell on a forum such as this and post the rifle, so long as they satisfy themselves that the person they are selling to is 18 or over.

12 ft lbs is plenty enough for rabbits and pigeons at 25-30 yards. .22 long rimfire rounds are up to 150 ft/lbs which shows how low powered air rifles are. I had fun as a teenager with one, won a few competitions. Had Webley and BSA guns when they were still made in Birmingham. Now they buy stuff in from Turkey and Spain  Weirauch now badge up Chinese made pistols as their own.

Interesting as a discussion about air rifles/pistols may be, this is classifieds - please stick to replying only if you're interesting in the item/s being offered by the OP.

Many thanks,

Right, here are the photos, as far as the specific questions, umm, I don't know!

It was sold to me by a reputable rod and gun shop that also does repairs. The bottom bit where your hand goes is a bit scuffed. The sights are straight enough for even me to hit targets.

I used it twice and then put it back in the brand new case and never got another chance to use it.
